Treasury is updating the Federal Financial Management (FFM) Standards through two releases for calendar year 2026: one in May 2026 and the other in November 2026. Each release will include two public comment periods, for a total of four throughout the year. 

The second public comment period for the May 2026 release focuses on proposed FFM Standards changes related to Centralized Receivables Service (CRS) processes, system capabilities, and integrated data. These proposed changes have been posted on Regulations.gov and are now open for review and comment. The comment period is open through Friday, April 10th, 2026.
