This includes such items as forfeitures of moneys remaining in registry of courts five years or longer, and wages of seamen remaining in registry of courts more than six years; penalties for trespass and depredations on public lands and reservations; fines assessed under local laws administered by the United States (as in the Canal Zone); fines for library books and broken records; and bribes to United States officers.
