A recall of transferred debt refers to the notification to the Bureau of the Fiscal Service (Fiscal Service) by the creditor agency that Fiscal Service must cease its debt collection efforts for a particular debt. The responsibilities for servicing, collecting, or compromising the debt, or for suspending or terminating collection action on the debt, have been transferred back to the creditor agency.
