The Bureau of the Fiscal Service is excited to announce that TFX has expanded even further!

Now data transparency topics are within TFX to provide easy access to federal financial data for better government wide decision-making and accountability. Click the Data Transparency Tab to link to resources including Governmentwide Spending Data Model (GSDM), Data Broker, USAspending.gov, and Fiscal Data.

  • GSDM is the authoritative source for the teams, definitions, formats and structures for hundreds of distinct data elements that tell the story of how federal dollars are spent.
  • Data Broker is an application to securely load, validate, publish and certify financial data.
  • USAspending.gov is the official source for federal spending data where you can see how much and where the government spends each year.
  • Fiscal Data provides information about the four pillars of federal finances (Revenue, Spending, Deficit, and Debt) and shares animated graphs and charts of how the government spends money.
